Sleeping Worlds Wake
A downloadable playbooks
Sleeping Worlds Wake is a collection of three original playbooks for Interstitial: Our Hearts Intertwined. I spend a lot of time coming up with weird ideas for Interstitial playbooks and this is me finally starting to work through that list!
The Slayer is a playbook about being someone who is brutally strong and capable of great violence. Sort of a typical shooty game character archetype with some twists! (Examples: Doomguy, Jacket, Axton)
The Writer is a playbook about being someone who creates fiction inside of a fictional world. Do the thing every author wants to do but doesn't because it always sucks. (Examples: Andrew Hussie, Steven King, Stan Lee)
The Wildcard is a playbook about being someone who is silly and weird that might be a little annoying at times. Greater than symbol, colon, three. That's it that's the description. (Examples: Gir, Pinkie Pie, Catbug)
I hope you like them! And if you do I would really appreciate it if you left a review!
(Oh also the name doesn't mean anything really. There's not any kind of through line between these playbooks that I can think of. It just has the same first letters as all the playbooks (S W W) to sort of do a Dream Drop Distance thing.)
Interstitial: Our Hearts Intertwined is a game by Riley Hopkins. You can buy it on their itchio or on their website
